Easter 2011

Easter was a beautiful family day.  We started our morning with a lovely breakfast with our church family.   We presented Susie with some flowers for her wonderful work at Eggstravaganza.  After breakfast we had a small resurection egg hunt for the  kids that went with the Sunday School lesson.  Church service was held outside under the tent.  It was just so beautiful and special.  Fred preached a great sermon and I loved being there with my family.  I am so lucky to know God and have such wonderful faith.  After the service Olivia and Eden over for lunch. Then we had dinner and an egg hunt with Brynn, Joey, Eli, Heather and Noah.  The house was 100 degrees from having the oven on all day.  The kids had a great time finding and hiding eggs.  What a great day!

Eggtravaganza!!

Easter was early this year but it was a great one.  We started it off with Eggtravaganza.  I was in charge of the goody bags again this year.  The girls and I got to the church early to help set up.  Larry took Sebastian to his game and met us there right as it was starting.  It was a lot of fun.  The kids really had a great time and we had some great weather.  We are so blessed to belong to this church family.

Family Visit

As soon as we got back from New York, we had to start getting ready for our visit with Grandma....Chris and Janet decided to come visit Jen and brought Grandma with them.  They got here on Sunday, 17th and we went down to VB and picked her up.  We had Mexican with everyone before heading home.  On Monday we were just chill.  We hung out at the house and took Grandma down to Yorktown to let her see the beach and old houses.  Then we grilled out and had a wonderful family dinner. On Tuesday, Chris came up with the boys and we all went to Colonial Williamsburg.  It was so fun seeing the old town and people dressed up.  Then Larry and Shirley headed to Sebastians ball game while I hosted LCE.  On Wednesday, the whole VB crew came up and we all went to Busch Gardens.  Except for Grandma and Kalin.....  We had a wonderful time.  I am so glad Shirley came for a visit.....
