A new Mohler is here!

Our neighbors, Melisa and Tom Mohler welcomed a new boy to their family on Wednesday, December 15.  His name is Liam Thomas Mohler, nicknamed Tadd...  He was born at 9'3'' and 22 inches long.  He is just perfect and so gorgeous.  Both mom and baby are doing great...

Building a Gingerbread house...

Well, today we  built our gingerbread house.  The one we fought over at Debbie Dean's cookie exchange.  We had the house with one last person to go.  The last person stole a gift and the woman she stool it from decided to take the house.  Lincoln had a fit.  He started crying and got so upset.  I couldn't believe the lady took this house from my son.  Then, another party guest took the house from the mean lady and gave it back to Lincoln.  She was so mad....  I could not believe.  We left shortly after.  And I guess it was worth it.  The kids love the house and had a great time putting it together.....

Snow!!!

Well it is snowing like crazy.  School was closed last night before the snow started.  Around 10:30 am it started and by 11:30 we had about an inch of snow.  It is supposed to rain and sleet later and turn things icy.  So we got an early start and went sledding this morning.  We had a blast.  Lincoln is finally starting to get big enough to really enjoy things like this.  He thought it was awesome and he could actually pull the sled back up by himself.  Callie didn't pull her hair back so her hair was wild by the time she came home.  My mission this year is to make sure we all have snow gear and to try and go skiing.

Following the concert...

After Callie's concert,  I ran to join the ladies of LCE at our Christmas party.  I was already late and then I got to talking on the phone with Heather and went the wrong way.  Some tears and curses later I finally got to where I was supposed to be.  I got in and grabbed me some soup and we started playing a game.  We got a sheet with 24 squares with pics in them.  The pictures represented Christmas songs.  I won the game with 15 correct answers.  Yeah.  I won a beautiful yellow poinsetta. Then we started our present game.  Everyone got to roll the dice.  If you rolled a 7 or 11 you could open a gift or steal a gift.  It was so fun to watch people stealing the good gifts.  There was lots of laughter and fun.  I came home with a set of 10 picture frames.  I am so excited about it.  I am going to do a collage in the halway with them..  A vote was made to elect the new officers.  Suzie is the new President, Courtney the Vice-Pres, I am the Secretary and Janet is the Treasurer.  I looking forward to next year and being a part of this wonderful group of ladies.

Callie's Christmas Concert.

Callie had her first band concert on Tuesday, December 14.  I could not believe she is getting that big.  I feel so old.  I remember when I had my first concert.  Tuesday was a crazy day.   We had to run around and get Callie some shoes to wear. We ended up getting her some imitation uggs.  She looked great, just way to old. The concert was for the Chorus and the Band.   They were wonderfully terrible. Which was to be expected since they just started.   I was so proud of her.  I can't wait till she figures the flute out and really gets into it.

Izabella's Birthday

My baby girl is 8 years old.  I can not believe it.  She is getting so big and so very beautiful.  We celebrated her birthday on Dec. 2nd at the Twin Pin Bowling Alley.  We rented the place out with Christine.  It was her son David's birthday too.  We had an amazing turn out.  Over 22 kids came for Izabella including, Olivia and Eden (Robin, Garrett and Grayson came also), Kiya with her mom Erin, Liberty, Theresa and Elijah, and a bunch more that their names escape me.  Bella received some great gifts and had a lot of fun.  We went through 48 pieces of pizza in about 20 minutes.  Then on Bella's actual birthday she got out of school early.  She and I went to the movies to watch Tangled.  We were the only two people in the whole theater.  It was so cool. When the movie was over Izabella looked at me and I wanted to cry at the happiness and joy I saw in her face. When we got home Owen came over and we had cake and opened a few more gifts.  Izabella declared it was the best birthday ever....
