The end....

Saturday night was finished off with a night spent with April and the fam.  We had hamburgers and hot dogs and just got to hang out.  I count myself as priveleged  to have a friend for twenty years.  April and I met when we were in fifth grade.  Our relationship has lasted through Middle and High school, husbands and babies.  Most of the night was spent reflecting on how much our lives have changed and how much like our  parents we are now.  SCARY!!!  But a huge joy is to be found in knowing we have many more years to share our lives....  Sunday we got up and tried to hang out with Steven.  But he wouldn't get out of bed.  Wefinally woke him up and made to the splash pad.  But we had to leave when someone pooped on it.  Yuck....  We ended the vacation with Aunt Missy.  We had dinner with her church and she took us with her to the picnic at Point Mallard.  The whole park was shut down for just the church.  My children amazed me that night... Lincoln decided he was going to swim underwater and the other children decided to jump off the platforms.  They are like 16ft in the air.  It almost cried.  I jumped off those same platforms when I was a child.  Life really does come full circle......

Day #3 Saturday

Saturday was a wonderful day.  We got up and had breakfast.  Then we got ready and went bowling.  The police department was sponsering a kid appreciation day.  So Linda was working the event.  We got to bowl two games, hot dogs and a drink all for free.  Heather and Steven brought Sara and Aunt Missy and Brooke came.  Then John and his girls came to bowl.  Me and my bro's together watching our kids bowl.  It was really amazing.  We had so much fun.  Sara had never bowled and could have stayed all day.  She was so excited.  Aunt Missy whipped all of us. 

Day number #2

On Friday, the kids and I got up and went to Granpa buddies house.  First we went to his old/rental house that someone trashed.  Then we went to the new house (my Great-grannies house that was built in 1970).  I have visited family in that house my whole entire life.  We checked out the garden and had some lunch.  That afternoon Linda took the kids all to the movies.  She even brough their cousins, Brooke, Matthew and Jacob.  That evening I went and did a party for Heather.  It was a lot of fun and did well.  After the party things got a little bad for a while.  Steven and John wouldn't quit arguing.  But we went to John's to celebrate Maisie's first birthday.  I can't believe I got to celebrate that with her.  I was so happy to be able to be Aunt Stephanie and be there for my nieces.  I also got to hang out with Sarah.  Danny's youngest daughter.  It was a great Friday.
