Larry and I chaperoned the band field trip to Washington DC this year. I wanted him to have a good idea of what I do on these trips. We headed out on Thursday morning. When we arrived in DC we headed to the old post office. It was the first skyskraper ever built in the US. We did some shopping and then headed to the White House. After the White House we went to one of the Smithsonian museums. The museum of Natural History. It was really neat and cool museum. We decided to head to the back of the White house after the museum and see if we could get a better view. We loaded up on the bus and headed to dinner. After dinner we took a night bus tour of the city. Seeing all of the monuments lit up was so neat.
