Lincoln's First Field Trip

On the first Lincoln had his first field trip.  We went to the College Run Farm pumpkin patch in Surry. We rode the ferry and the kids got to throw bread to the seagulls.  Lincoln loved it.  When we got to the pumpkin patch we got to look at all different kinds of pumpkins and color some books about what we were going to do.  We took a hayride.  But only down the road because of the rain we got.   The kids picked their pumpkin to go home with them.  Then they got to put face stickers on their very own gourd.  Lincoln loved this.  Finally we ate lunch and started home.  We missed the return ferry by about 5 minutes.  Ugh...  But enjoyed hanging out with Lincoln.  We had so much fun!!!
